A Poetry Book from SAOL
Published in October 2022, this poetry book is a remarkable collection of poems from the women of SAOL along with our friends from the worlds of art, drama, poetry and song
With more than 100 poems, this book transports the reader into a world of hope, strength, endurance and resilience. Paula Meehan and Ray Hegarty curated this collection, drawing on poems written in SAOL over the last 27 years. The poems written by SAOL's participants and staff are joined by poems from friends and supporters from all walks of life, including Colm Tobin, Theo Dorgan, Rachel Hegarty and Rita Ann Higgins to name but a few.

It is a wonderful book that will grace any bookshelf - particularly at Christmas!
All About Me
If you would like to get a copy of Cadence, here's what to do.

1. Decide on a donation for SAOL. (The minimum donation is €10 in order to cover the cost of postage)
2. Send an email to admin@saolproject.ie which outlines how many copies you would like and to what address you would like them sent. We will do our utmost to send them out in time for Christmas but we will be using An Post facilities and so we will be restricted by their postage dates.
3. Click Donate and follow the instructions on screen! In the message section, please write 'donation for poetry book'. By using iDonate, SAOL Project ensures that we are transparent about all donations received.
Thank you for helping SAOL in its work. Any money raised over and above the cost of printing the books will be spent directly on the participants who attend SAOL Project and no donated money will be spent on administration or other such costs.
